The Flinders Ranges in South Australia is a mystical region with an abundance of aboriginal history.

Modeled upon the Flinders Ranges escarpment, the Wallaby Cliffs exhibit features the prettiest of the kangaroo species, the Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby and the very appealing Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat.

Resilience to a harsh environment is a trait that the Yellow-footed Rock Wallaby and Southern Hairy-nosed Wombat have in common. To cope with living in such a dry environment, both animals can survive without a lot of water and get most of the moisture they need from the vegetation they eat. The Hairy-nosed Wombat takes this one step further by spending the heat of the day sleeping in its cool burrow to conserve what little moisture it does get.
