Excursions Information
Sydney Wildlife World exhibits the largest variety of Australia’s unique and bizarre plants and animals in the world, with over 130 species of all Australian animals, all under one roof.
It provides an amazing, educational and entertaining experience and it's conveniently located in the heart of the city at Darling Harbour. Each habitat represents a unique Australian environment or animal, giving visitors and students a taste of Australia’s diversity all under one roof. Some of the animals featured include koalas, echidnas, Frill Necked Lizards, wallabies, saltwater crocodiles and cassowaries, exhibited in their natural habitats such as rainforest, semi-arid grasslands and kakadu.
Built over 7000 square metres (the equivalent of 2 football fields), Sydney Wildlife World incorporates nearly one kilometre of enclosed walkways across three levels. The building itself is one of a kind, with part of the building constructed over water.
